BUS IT -N- CATCH IT

My name is Rich Richardson Inventor and Founder of BUS IT -N- CATCH IT, LLC.

I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. As a little boy, I remember watching garbage trucks come through my neighborhood. I would see the men riding on the back, picking up trash, and I remember thinking, “That looks like a pretty cool job. Maybe one day I’ll do that.”

Little did I know, my life would take a completely different direction.  Instead of becoming a garbage collector, I invented a tool to collect debris and trash left behind on restaurant tables.

I spent more than 30 years in the restaurant and hospitality industry. And it was during those years of experience that an everyday problem would lead me to an idea and invention that changed my life.

One day, while managing a 'Five Guys Burgers and Fries' restaurant, a school bus pulled in with a large group of kids.  I walked into the dining room and saw a complete mess!!!

There was food, paper wrappers, cups, spilled drinks, debris, and peanut shells everywhere! All over the tables, the seats and on the floor.

As I stood there and looked around, I thought to myself,  “There has got to be a better way to clean up this mess."

And then it hit me…

BUS IT -N- CATCH IT.

I know this was a God-given idea.  What started as a simple thought, became a U.S. Patented invention, designed to catch food, spills, and debris while cleaning tables. The goal is simple: help restaurants clean tables faster, keep dining areas cleaner, save time & labor, and ensure a more pleasant experience for guests.

My mission is simple: Clean tables faster and smarter, everywhere food and beverages are enjoyed.
